Protestors Fundraiser

Bain Law is offering free, pro bono representation for protestors that incurred criminal charges due to peaceful protests in Minnesota.

These protestors need our help. They have been on the frontlines pushing for important changes in an effort to reform policing, ensure accountability, demand justice, and end systemic racism. I want to help these protestors in any way I can. Many were arrested and issued citations on criminal charges of breaking curfew and unlawful assembly. I am representing these people on a pro bono basis because I don't believe they should be saddled with a criminal conviction for exercising First Amendment rights. Now that their cases are in the court system, they are likely to incur some court costs and/or fines. Many protestors are young, with little to no income, in an economy ravaged by the COVID-19 pandemic. I also believe these protestors should not be burdened with court costs and/or fines for exercising their First Amendment rights. Please help me and please help them. We are all in this together. 

Any funds raised that exceed the need for court costs for protestors will be donated to Black Visions Collective.
